This was a truly bizarre place.  Legend says that 40 virgins were holed up here hiding from marauding tribes and, after a woman warned them of their imminent capture, they flew up to heaven.  The pile of stones covered in a white cloth is the grave of the women who saved them. It is considered to be a sacred place and includes a "kitchen" for those wishing to prepare a sacrifical meal - we had a rather delicious lunch there.  The rags hanging from the ceiling (pictured below) are similar to those (usually hanging from trees) all over Central Asia and are put there by people making a wish.  You dip your rag in mud and throw it up to the ceiling - if it sticks, your wish is granted.  Personally, I wished that my bit of rag would actually stick - my wish was granted.
