ten years independence monument

This monument was built to commemorate ten years of independence from Russia.  In amongst all the kitch of Ashgabat this statue stood out, for me at any rate, as really quite elelgant. It features 10 bronze Ahal Teke horses and is nicknamed 'forty legs' by Ashgabat citizens.
