Gich

The campsite itself was a bit flat and boring but the views either side of it were spectacular.  The plants pictured below are giant lobelia and only grow above 3,000m - they bear absolutely no resemblance to the blue things you put in hanging baskets.  Gich camp is 3,600m above sea level and our tents were covered in ice when we woke up in the morning.
